Yesterday I started to take down the studio, so I can move it 5 metres. It took me most of the day to take the roof off (I’m glad to see that I can build things to last). I was surprised to find around half a dozen hibernating queen wasps. Big, fat, bright yellow and black. Now I know where all the prospective wasp home-makers were coming from last spring.

Over the weekend I decided to have some fun experimenting with the Gocco printer. I liked the results so much I decided to release the better ones as a series of prints.
They are all approximately A5 on various papers with various random effects, finished with gold chrome and are limited to 22, signed, numbered and stamped.
All are £10.00 and will be selected at random.

I’m back from a much needed break with the family. Eight days in the sun to recharge the batteries and not go near a computer or canvas at pain of death. I didn’t realise just how much I needed some distance from the ‘real world’, so much so, that I almost questioned whether this (working all hours) is the real world, or just some massive nightmare.
Enough of that – the reason for this post is to fill you in on some recent events, all of which I didn’t have the time to promote much or keep up with.
There’s some more exciting events on the radar – keep your eyes peeled.

I have been taking notes again. Not sure when or why I slipped out of the habit, but I think it’s probably something to do with the volume of work I have been ‘churning’ out, like some kind of maniacal art factory.
